Picture of the white, "floating", mosque in Kuala Ibai, Terengganu. The picture was taken just after maghrib thus there was still some colour in the sky (unfortunately, I think the sky would look better if we arrived there much earlier). The sky was also alight with lightning - that could be seen on the upper right corner of the picture.
As the name suggests, the mosque rests on top of a body of water and reflections of the mosque and part of the sky could be seen on the water. I used a 30 second exposure and the "painting with light" technique to highlight part of the mosque.
Taken at the beach near Ikelah's house in Kuantan when we visited him last weekend. I used a new technique I learnt while reading one of Ikelah's photo magazines to edit the above photo (as well as all the following photos).
